Adding just 20 hours of week of work {outside of the home} to my
normal routine has left me with little
time to work on projects in my home.
However, this weekend I worked on painting the backs of the book-
shelves in our great room and editing the styling on the shelves.
I was craving simplicity and feel like I am on my way.
The photo above was taken this evening. I promise to
post photos taken in daylight later this week.
I was overanxious to share while watching the Grammy's this evening.
So how was your weekend? I painted in between basketball games,
soccer training, middle school dance chauffeuring and even
an indulgent trip to the Tarte sale! Bring on Monday!
The bookcase looks fabulous!! Love the color you painted the back of the shelves with.

They look great. The dark paint makes everything pop. The styling is pretty too! :)

ReplyDeleteTrain as well, my friend.
Maybe to balance out
all the activity in a house
with two teens? Your
shelves look great; love
the color!
