Well, of course, in my fantasy of the mind, I actually believe that the
peeps at Pottery Barn are loyal readers of my blog 'cause they think
I am some kind of design savant......picking the next BIG design trends....HA!
Seeing a really good knock-off of the vintage Euro bench that I scored
at last year's Farm Chicks show in the recent Pottery Barn catalog only
contributes to my delusions!
geesh:)
ReplyDeletethis isn't the only post i've read about Pottery Barn getting inspired by finds on blogs:)
I suppose lucky you::)
Unbelievable how similar they are. I love your bench (well and PBs as well for that matter).
ReplyDeleteI have to say... I like yours better! What a cool color!!!
ReplyDeleteNext thing you know they might start paying you for being their inspiration... or maybe just send you thank you products!
;)

ReplyDeleteLove your bench and I know what you mean. I painted a paned mirror and then discovered one very similar in PB catalog and was quite thrilled too.
ReplyDeleteyep pretty darling!
ReplyDeleteI love it!
ReplyDeleteWe don't send PB or Ballard Designs anything free for copying their style and products so why should they send us free things for copying them?
ReplyDeleteWell hello 'Anonymous' - don't think I asked the Pottery Barn peeps to send me ANYTHING.....
