I love American Home Builders. Have it recorded so I don't miss an episode.
ReplyDeleteWe are getting ready to a master bath remodel so $50 from Lowes will come in handy.
Love your blog BTW -
I'm looking forward to watching that show. I would like to improve our back yard area with a fire pit, and renovate our deck.
ReplyDeleteI've been eyeing the wooden crates from Lowe's... I'd paint a fun color like kelly green and add some casters. Instant toy box for my busy one year old!
ReplyDeleteAny chance to watch Nate, I take. Just wish he was designing. If I could makeover our kitchen, I'd be in heaven. ;)
ReplyDeleteI totally loved the show and all the crazy characters. I would makeover our backyard so we could enjoy the upcoming PNW summer! Give the patio furniture a facelift with some paint and bring in some more lush greenery. Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI would turn our deck into an enclosed family room....very ambitious!

Sadly, we need to begin our making our home a dream home by replacing the roofing shingles. After that, bathrooms are a priority. I look forward to the ideas from this series.
ReplyDeleteI would get new flooring and new kitchen cabinets
ReplyDeleteelena150980@yahoo.com
Gosh, a kitchen re-do is my priority right now.
ReplyDeleteV. Marie
I would redo my kitchen...new cabinets to the ceilings, granite counters, stainless appliances, new paint, and hardwood floors!
ReplyDeleteWe have two big renos planned to make this house our dream home-- expanding a powder bath with a shower stall and then a kitchen not-quite-but-almost gut job.
ReplyDeleteI would start on redoing my miniscule kitchen
ReplyDeleteAdd some ambience with dimmers, table runners and plants.
ReplyDeleteI really really need an addition onto my home. Right now its a very small 2 bedroom but we desperately need a 3 bedroom. My fiance and I have a 7 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. Daughter has her own room while son is sleeping in a toddler bed in our room. Our kitchen serves dual purpose as well. It's a kitchen plus storage room for all of our toys, clothes, and junk. If i won this i would love to paint both bedrooms. Maybe something boyish on my sons wall. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI would somehow someway have a laundry room, my husband said the plans called for a laundry room but when him and his X built the laundry room was forgotten. I would love to have a room to decorate around my washer and dryer there all so many decorated laundry rooms out there that are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI would love hardwood floors throughout my house! :-)

I would do several things. First off I would get wood floors throughout my whole house, then I would get detailed white baseboard and crown moulding throughout and then a kitchen remodel; new cabinets, countertops, and backsplash!!! Basically my house is a work in progress. Finally I would like to paint the exterior and replace the windows.

I'd use the $50 to by molding to add to my kitchen cabinets! nitastacy@gmail.com - Mod Vintage Life
ReplyDeleteOur current home will never be my dream home, for that I would have to move to another state! :-). But in the meantime, I would love to redo our kitchen with new cabinets and updated appliances.
ReplyDeleteI'd use it to buy some paint!!!! My daughter is getting married, so thus my son gets her PINK room :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to remodel 3 bathrooms! Everything else seems okay but 2 pre-teen girls sharing one small bathroom sink is only going to get worse! Thanks for the heads up on this show, I had forgotten about it! Thanks,

My bathrooms are still in the 80's! I would redo 2 of them completely and freshen up the 3rd. Or add on a downstairs master!
ReplyDeleteWe are getting ready to redo our bedroom, I would use this for paint, new floors etc.
ReplyDeleteI have so many things that I want to do to my home. However, I would love to help my parents with their home. It would be so awesome to finish their back courtyard. It would be so nice for them to be able to just enjoy themselves!
ReplyDeleteI would love to replace my tile kitchen countertop and linoleum flooring. It would finish the kitchen update I started a couple of years ago that included painting the oak cabinets white. Thanks for the great give-away!
ReplyDeleteLast night's episode was pretty darned good! Not necessarily a mid-century enthusiast but there were lots of ideas to take away and it's only a matter of time til there's some fireworks! And of course it goes without saying that any show featuring Nate is worth watching!
ReplyDeleteAnywhooo.. have just finished installing a hardwood floor and painting of kitchen cabinets is next on the agenda. That GC would sure come in handy for the paint! Thanks for the opportunity - my fingers are crossed!
Hi! I think I would use it to update (that's a stretch of a word!) our 1950 original basement bedroom; my parents will be staying with us nearly half the year, and I would love to offer them a warmer (literally and figuratively!) space -- floors & walls & window! THANK YOU! analise (analise.hess at gmail.com)
ReplyDeleteWe're building a new house, so I can think of a thousand things to buy at Lowe's. Right now I'm spending hours looking at dining room lighting!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love these sort of shows! Reminds me of changing rooms in the UK actually!
ReplyDeleteLove Nate Berkus!! I am looking at new lighting for our kitchen and new subway tile in our master bathroom!! Thanks for the amazing giveaway. :)
ReplyDeleteWe want to update our sunroom so it becomes the comfortable family place for spring and summer.
ReplyDeleteOur front porch needs some Spring flowers!
ReplyDeleteKerssies@verizon.net
First, I'd get a brand new roof. And then I would merge the kitchen and dining room together to make one large room. Getting new fixtures, cabinets and flooring in the kitchen would be nice, too.
ReplyDelete2dogs5catscrew@att.net
My dream makeover would be a total redo of my kitchen. Top to bottom.
ReplyDeleteI would add on a 4th bedroom, so I can have another baby! adrienmyers at yahoo dot com
ReplyDeleteA little paint and hardwood floors upstairs would be a dream come true! Thanks
ReplyDeleteI"am in need of some cute shelving in my laundry area to help me be more organized!!!Would love some help...thanks!
