Let's face it, winter 2010 has been relentless in much of our country. I don't know about you, but I am ready to lighten up up my home and bring in some spring mojo!
I visited my local Pottery Barn yesterday - you all know the love/hate relationship I have with "the Barn"...
Well, if you need a dose of spring in your otherwise snowy life, I suggest heading to Pottery Barn.
The store is filled with items guaranteed to bring a bit of springtime cheer into your home! (and I was paid NOTHING to say that!)
And because it has been soooooooo long since I did a giveaway and in honor of Valentine's Day, I thought it was time to spread the love .....
So here it goes - I am giving away one set of three great items I picked up at Pottery Barn yesterday that will definitely add to your spring decor!
These items include a box of small nests, great for under your cloches, incorporated into a springtime wreath or just sitting on top of a small urn or stand. They would also be great on a spring tablescape!
Of course, you can't have an empty nest so included is a bag of large natural eggs!
And finally, also included is a set of three adorable mini bird candles! I have a plethora of bird pictures, paintings, figures in my home so I also got a set of these for myself!
The rules for this giveaway are as follows:
First, leave me a comment sharing your favorite thing about spring.
Second, if you are not already, become a follower of my blog.
Third, if you are so inclined, blog about the contest and you will be entered twice!
The contest will end at midnight on Sunday and the winner announced on Monday morning!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

ReplyDeletewarm weather and longer days. so sick of the snow!
ReplyDeleteI have the perfect HUGE vase for those springtime treasures!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about spring is the surprise of where the flowers that the previous owner planted will bloom. Sometimes there are tulips next to my front door, the backyard is often blessed with a lilly or two. I also love the smell of spring and watching things come to life was if waking up from a very long nap.
Ooh, these are wonderful! Love to win!
ReplyDeleteMe again, forgot to say what I love about spring: No snow!!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about Spring is when all of the birdies come back around and hang out in the dogwood bush right outside my window. The sounds of their chatter lets me know warm weather is just around the corner! And...after all this snow we have had..I am trying to keep reminding myself of that!
ReplyDeleteHugs ~ Angie

My favorite thing about Spring is the scent: moist earth, tulips, and lilacs all combine to form one scent of promise. The promise is of longer days, warmer temperatures and beautiful gardens.

ReplyDeleteHi Jill,
ReplyDeleteYou have certainly picked out some lovely things for your giveaway.
I came over to visit you from another blog and I think your blog is so nice. So, I am now a follower and you will have a hard time getting rid of me!
To me Spring represents a time of rebirth and renewal of all of God's creations. The birds start building nests and the flowers begin budding. We all want to freshen and change our homes. It's a wonderful time.

Spring means being able to be outside without worrying about frostbite! I love the warmth of the sun, the green of the grass, and the blue of the sky.

ReplyDeleteoh... the smell of freshly mown grass. That is always such a great smell! And the beautiful buds on the cherry trees. And the hungry baby birds chirping for their mamas. and I could go on forever...

ReplyDeleteWhat I love about spring is the explosion of color...the flowers, the sky, the warm sun after a long winter. It's my favorite season! You have a very lovely blog. Thanks for offering this giveaway. I am a follower;)
ReplyDeleteJust popping in to say Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteSuzann (The Olive Cottage)
My favorite thing about spring...I start back as a planter/grower in a greenhouse (11th year). It may be 20 degrees outside and 6 feet of snow on the ground, but when the sun is shining in the greenhouse the temps rise to over 75 degrees, (I pretend it's summer outside) and everything is green and dirt feels great in my hands (again)!
ReplyDeletelove your blog. love the eggs and I love the first signs of bulbs pushing through the ground and then blooming in early spring. I see it as a message that God is still renewing the earth and our lives.
ReplyDeleteANYTHING to do with Spring right now sounds good as we are having another blizzard right now! But I long to hear the birds sing! I'm so glad I found your lovely blog. I am now a new follower! I'm going to have to search for the nearest Pottery Barn if they sell things like these! Happy Valentines Day!
ReplyDeleteI love spring as this is the time I start to prepare for my spring garden. I am now a follower of your blog.
ReplyDeleteIrma :)
My favorite thing about spring is the first day that you can open all the windows and let the fresh air in. After months of having the house closed up, up here in Canada that is a lot of months let me tell you. Can't wait.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite things about spring is seeing the garden waking up after a long winters nap. The plants popping their little heads out of the soil and everything getting green ~ a warm breeze and the sun on my face. I cannot wait!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of spring, the freshness of the air, the outdoor picnics, lemons, crisp sheets, outdoor tire swings, dryer lines outside, anything creme, easter egg hunts, lemonade, tulips, green pastures, nice breeze at night and pretty much EVERYTHING that comes with Spring. Although I prefer Fall, Winter and then Spring (all in the standard order) I do LOVE knowing that Spring is just around the corner and the feeling of freedom is going to be upon us soon. Oh and one must not forget Spring cleaning. That is one of my favs. Getting the house fresh and in order. Yay for Spring time.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry I missed this...I'm just getting back in town last night...but you are so sweet to share the love of Spring!! Hope all is well
